BioBreathe by AlcheMood™ is a companion wellness experience for Apple Watch and iPhone, designed to support guided breathing, self-awareness and personal reflection.
BioBreathe combines structured breathing guidance with Apple Watch haptics, visual cues and real-time heart-rate information from Apple Health. Recent live heart-rate readings help inform the timing of the guided breathing experience.
Users can choose sessions ranging from 1 to 20 minutes and record how they feel afterward by selecting More Activated, About the Same or More Settled.
Users may also enable optional musical sound cues that accompany the haptic guidance and mark each breathing phase: inhale, pause, exhale and final pause. The sound cues can be turned off for a quieter, haptic-guided experience.
The companion iPhone app displays session history and self-reported trends, allowing users to explore how session duration may relate to their post-session experience.

The dot’s position represents the user’s self-reported post-session response. The dot’s color represents the duration of the breathing session:
The color does not represent stress level, autonomic activity, symptom severity, heart rate, or a medical interpretation. A blue dot does not mean that the user’s nervous system was more regulated than a red dot. It means only that the breathing session was longer.
The Nervous System Trend does not use stored heart-rate measurements, calculate vagal tone, determine sympathetic or parasympathetic activity, diagnose a condition, or independently determine how the user feels. It organizes the user’s selected responses and session durations to support personal reflection over time.
The term “Nervous System Trend” refers to the user’s subjective pattern of feeling more activated, about the same, or more settled after guided breathing sessions. Individual experiences may vary.
